Fairway

A 3-wood ring is a different language than the driver

Golfers copy the driver click onto the fairway and then wonder why Chartiers 14 will not hold. The adapter family is often a cousin, not a twin. Torque specs differ. Seats differ. The window we want into a green is not the window we want off a tee.

Why it gets its own ticket

Descent into a green is the question, not carry brag

We jack a fairway so the ball can land and stay, not so a number on a hoop looks like a driver sequel. That usually means a weaker seat than people expect, especially in river-valley air that already helps the ball climb. Dino will not let a driver plus-two migrate onto a 3-wood just to keep the bag “matching.”

If you only book one wood, and the complaint is a green that will not hold, book this one. The driver can wait.

  • Confirm the adapter family

Cousin hexes round. We match the pegboard before the first turn.

  • Map seats with a ball on a low tee

Fairway windows are about turf and a short tee, not a driver peg.

  • Keep the seat that holds

The copy says “holds” in plain language. Carry is a second line.
